Agathe has been my personal trainer since the middle of June 2020, and I still (as of september, 2021) train twice a week under Agathe’s knowledgeable guidance. I have achieved a weight loss of 20 kg, thanks to good training and nutritional guidance. I’m quite happy weighing less, but most important of all, the training has given me renewed strength in my joints and muscles. Agathe is good at reading any individual’s starting point and limitations and constructs a reasonable program for strength and conditioning. I’m pleased with the progression in my training, and her educational and humoristic style. It’s fun training with Agathe! I wanted a knowledgeable and experienced personal trainer with that “something” that makes you look forward to training and giving that little extra. Agathe hits the mark. She has the experience and knowledge. There are always new and fun exercises, as well as solutions for periods of injury or closed gyms. Sessions with Agathe are as tough as you want them to be (and more), mixed with humor and real training joy. It’s a real joy training with Agathe – I highly recommend it.
My goal was to get in better shape and lose some kilos. She has helped me with both! The most important thing she made me realize is that you need to be happy with what your body can do, and that weight doesn’t matter! That’s why I’m extra proud to feel better trained and look it, too, and feel better about myself. There are many exercises I couldn’t do before, that I can do now, due to her good advice and techniques. She’s made me love training and knows how important it is for body and mind. After I started training outside, I’ve had lots of inspiration, and I work out a lot outside by myself now. Her sessions are like a form of therapy for the mind and body. We can talk about anything, and I enjoy that a lot. She’s really talented, engaged, professional, and fun!
Even though I’ve trained condition steadily throughout my thirties, I felt bad about neglecting strength training. I had back pain and a weak core and knew I should’ve been strength training. My joints and muscles were stiff and inflexible. A few years with triathlon training hadn’t made it any better. I had immediate results the first year I started training with Agathe. I achieved more than 15 minutes on a half Ironman even after running, cycling, and swimming less than usual. But I had trained a lot with Agathe. More important than those results, I feel a lot stronger and have a more balanced physique than before. Agathe is good at pushing me but holds back when needed. I have avoided injury, had less back pain, and become a stronger, better cyclist and runner by training with her. It’s also great having someone push you, even on those days I just want to stay in bed. I’ve tried a few PT’s, Agathe surpasses them all. She’s knowledgeable, focused, and inspiring. If I make mistakes, she immediately lets me know, which is important to avoid injury.
